Wine Bar Update #1

It’s been a whirlwind few months behind the scenes here, working on The East End Wine Bar, but I’m super thrilled to be able to share a couple pieces of news regarding our start-up! Mind you, we’re still working on a few very important parts of building the wine bar, but I want to tell you what we’ve accomplished and what we’re focusing on next. You’ve all been so patient and I dearly want to reward your patience!

Here’s a quick update on what’s new:

✨ The website is live!

Currently just a landing page that says “wine bar - coming soon!”, this website will have a few other features as we progress over the next several months: a fully-integrated blog (more on that in a second); calendar integration so people can book in-home wine tastings with us; a gallery page of our food offerings and our favorite bottles we can’t wait to stock; and more! We’re really excited about the website and about putting more of our time into the site and our socials.

📌 We’re officially official

We’re an official LLC under the State of New York (The East End Wine Bar, LLC); we’re working on securing an SBA loan with our friends at M&T Bank; and we’re keeping private investment options on the table. We’ve had some incredible conversations about partnership and growth recently. More to come on this front for sure!

🎨 Branding is nearly finalized

We’ve been approached by several different enthusiastic artists about building some new branding and everything we’ve seen so far has been knock-out awesome! You’ve seen us change a bit over the past 6-months or so (have we only been at this for 6 months??) and we’re really ready to lock in our branding going forward to eliminate any confusion amongst our following.

🍷 In-home wine tastings are now booking for Summer 2025!

We’re hoping to book two to three per week from the week of May 12th to September 1st. If we can do two to three per week this summer, we’ll have the funding we need to make the wine bar our full time job - which means you get your wine bar that much sooner! We’ll post a blog post specifically about these in-home tastings this week, but for those of you interested in learning more right now, feel free to reach out to us at glasseswinebarny@gmail.com.

📝 Our blog is now live—and will soon be monetized!

Now that the blog is up and running, you’ll see weekly posts advocating wines we’ve been trying, gifts we’d love to give (or get!), recipes we’re making, our latest wine bar/winery etiquette posts from Threads, and, of course, any updates we can share about the wine bar itself!

To everyone who’s followed along so far, we are feeling the love. Your support on Instagram, Threads, and out in the world means everything. We’re building this wine bar for the North Fork - but also because you asked for it!

Cheers to what’s ahead! I can’t wait to raise a glass with you!

With gratitude,

Zach Glassman
